Commercial

Our commercial interior design service supports clients in any sector, from dentists and charities to hotels and restaurants. As well as designing the interiors for new commercial premises and refreshing existing locations, we can also select, source and install all types of furniture and soft furnishings.

Recently we've undertaken projects for the following clients:

The Injured Jockeys Fund

The Injured Jockeys Fund approached us to help address why their reception area wasn’t being utilised, and why the curved section featuring memorabilia of the renowned racing commentator Peter O'Sullevan – who generously donated to the creation of the centre for injured and retired jockeys – was underused. Their brief outlined the need to make better use of both the reception area and the space where the original curved furniture was placed.

We proposed relocating the curved island to the main area, adding seating for disabled clients, bar stools and additional seating options. This transformation allowed the reception area to be more functional, especially during events, significantly enhancing its use compared to its prior state.

In the main meeting room, we designed curved bench seating that echoed the shape of the room and incorporated Peter O'Sullevan’s racing colours. This redesign maximised the space, making it ideal for hosting a variety of events for the retired racing community.

The feedback was outstanding, and we’re thrilled with the final design, as both spaces are now being fully utilised on a regular basis.

Antwerp Dental

In 2023 we were commissioned to conceptualise and design a new cosmetic clinic in Cambridge for a client expanding their successful network of dental practices in the region.

Through collaborative discussions we determined that in order to achieve the desired aesthetic, a strategic rebranding was necessary to ensure a cohesive, luxurious and professional identity across both the cosmetic clinic and the dental practices. To initiate the design process, we began by presenting the client with a comprehensive branding proposal to align their vision with ours. This proposal included a redesigned logo, as well as a refined colour palette and design schemes that conveyed a more sophisticated ambiance, resonating with both the clinic and the broader brand.

In addition to logo and colour scheme development, our branding services extended to the design of uniforms, business cards, signage and other brand touchpoints, all meticulously crafted to reinforce the client’s premium image. Once the branding was approved, we shifted focus to the interior and exterior design of the clinic. Detailed 3D visualizations, along with curated shopping lists for materials and furnishings, were presented to the client for approval. Upon receiving the green light, we developed a comprehensive schedule of works and the transformation began. The renovation is currently underway, and we look forward to seeing the project reach completion in the near future.

Hotel Styling

In 2023 we were approached by an entrepreneur who owns and operates a nationwide chain of hotels. He requested that we conceptualise three room designs for different budget categories – low, middle and high – to evaluate our designs and understand our interpretation of these budget tiers.

For the low-budget room, we aimed to maintain a sleek and polished aesthetic while adopting a more minimalistic approach compared to the mid- and high-budget designs. The furnishings – including the bed frame, desk and storage solutions – were carefully selected for their durability and simplicity, ensuring they could be easily replicated across multiple rooms without compromising quality. The mid-budget room introduced additional design elements and accessories to enhance its appeal. We incorporated customisable features such as artwork and textiles, allowing for subtle variations that create a sense of individuality in each room without significantly increasing costs. This design embraced a more personalised, boutique-style aesthetic, making it an ideal fit for mid-range and city break boutique hotels. View our mid-budget visuals here.

For the high-budget room, we focused on delivering an exceptional level of luxury. This design included premium amenities such as a full wardrobe, a dedicated seating area and a coffee station, all contributing to the room's opulent feel. The use of high-quality materials – luxurious wallpaper, curated artwork, rich fabrics and brass finishes – elevated the space, creating a truly indulgent experience for guests.
