How to work from home in style
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a huge change in attitudes towards working from home, largely out of necessity but also because some sectors can actually operate more efficiently away from an office environment. At the start of lockdown 1.0 there was a perception of ‘needs must’, with many employees perched around their kitchen table or with their laptop on their knees, but the increased permanence of the work from home arrangement has led to a growth in the desire for a dedicated space which has been designed to fit the purpose. This doesn’t necessarily mean having an office that absolutely looks like an office – unless that’s your preference – but rather creating a separate space where you can work in comfort and peace.
Working from a home office can have a number of advantages, including the following:
