Showroom update
We're so excited to share our news that we are extending at Strive For Design!
Our original showroom will become more of a working/office studio where creations and designs will be produced. Crittall doors and windows are replacing the wall to allow access through to the new area that has been knocked through to the new extended showroom. This will accommodate furniture, lighting, bespoke wardrobes, wallpapers and fabrics, gas fires and various flooring finishes from tiles to Amtico, along with more than eight bathroom displays, freestanding baths, outdoor awnings, outdoor furniture, kitchens and BBQs. There will also be a contemporary kitchen and a traditional working kitchen which will be used to serve our clients with refreshments while they view their presentations and where we intend to hold events and planned chef nights!
Holding more than 280 direct home accessory accounts has enabled us to serve a varying range of clients who have different needs, priorities and budgets. The consultation area will be transformed and will also be used for teaching days which will be open to anyone looking for “An introduction to Interior Design”. Our small, friendly classes will be held in the working part of the showroom, which is a creative, eclectic and comfortable venue. This learning environment provides an extremely enjoyable and productive setting in which to gain knowledge and experience of most practical aspects of Interior Design. With lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day, these courses will be ideal for anyone interested in domestic interiors and wishing to design their own homes with confidence, style and flair. From colour analysis to creating mood boards and space planning we'll cover all the basics. We're so excited and cannot wait to launch this in 2022!
At Strive for Design we've also established the need to help clients relocate. Whether for work or a second home in the country, we can find you your ideal property, before renovating, decorating and furnishing it ready for you to move in or stay for weekends! Our relocation service covers Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas.
From a practical point of view we're still working on the basis of appointment only, and this has proved to be a huge success! We continue to have Zoom calls and consultations with clients in their own homes, taking care to keep everyone safe in this still uncertain climate.
With a new Assistant Designer as well as a Marketing and Sales Co-ordinator, we're also continuing to grow here at Strive For Design!
