Initial consultations can be either via Zoom or in the comfort of your own home. At Strive for Design we like to get to know each individual client and understand the style of their current home as it stands. Consultations and design are always based on a detailed brief. We like to gather as much information as possible to provide visuals for the next design stage.
We make recommendations on a range of products having taken into account the light in the room, the size of the room and the space that you have available. We frequently advise on materials, furniture, small accessories, rugs, lighting, colours and an appropriate budget and timeframe within which to complete the project. This is always a very important subject to discuss and agree on. Knowing exactly what our client wants to spend gives us a better idea of the suppliers and products we can specify.
We also like to know the specific needs of our clients as this enables us to design the actual layout and carry out the space planning for a particular room. When you’re planning to renovate and refurbish a room, this tends to be the most challenging part, which is why it really helps to engage an interior designer!
